Midwest Energy Members Vote to Self-Regulate
By a nearly three-to-one margin, Midwest Energy members voted to self-regulate, giving the cooperative’s member-elected Board of Directors most of the decision-making authority previously held by the Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC).

Apr. 18 Named "Lineman Appreciation Day" By U.S. Senate
The U.S. Senate passed last Wednesday, by unanimous consent, Senate Resolution 95, which designates April 18, 2013 as “National Lineman Appreciation Day.”
